

In July 2009, the 14th Combat Support Hospital deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom working under Joint Task Force134 performing the Detainee Healthcare Mission. In January 2006, the 14th Combat Support Hospital deployed to Afghanistan in support of Combined Joint Task Force-76 and the International Security Assistance Force - Afghanistan (ISAF) during Operation Enduring Freedom VII. In September 2005, the 14th Combat Support Hospital deployed to New Orleans, Louisiana in support of Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. Unit decorations include two Meritorious Unit Commendations (Embroidered) and one Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation (Embroidered). The 14th Combat Support Hospital lineage includes participating in World War II at the Aleutian Islands, Rhineland, and Central Europe while also serving in the Korean War. Eight years later on Jthe 14th Field Hospital was re-designated as the 14th Combat Support Hospital here. The unit operated in Germany until Apand was not activated again until October 6, 1996, when the unit arrived to Fort Benning. After approximately three years serving in Korea, the unit was inactivated Februand was reactivated in December 1954, again in Germany. It was again activated Novemin Korea and was allocated to the Army October 3, 1951. It was activated Jat Camp Bowie, Texas and inactivated Main Germany. Under the new construct, joint medical forces are able to conduct expeditionary health service support, including early-entry hospitalization, rapidly employable resuscitation, and surgery, to increase personnel survivability during cross-domain and semi-independent operations.

As a result in 2017, the AMEDD began transforming combat support hospitals into field hospitals. as the 14th Combat Field Hospital after serving 17 years as a ready and responsive deployable medical unit here. As the Army continues adapting to operations in this new environment, the Army Medical Department continues striving to provide better expeditionary Army health system support.

14th CSH will be relocating to Fort Stewart as the 14th Field Support Hospital. Pairmore and CSM Tony Flanagan lead the casing of the colors ceremony for the 14th Combat Support Hospital Jin Derby Auditorium.
